Spring Shower

More than sudden� the rain was so silent that it took even the grass by surprise. The harder it rained then more I wanted to be out there. A brown speck between spring slick grey sky and scented pre-fruit blossoms. Looking out my window today at the way the sky was just hanging off of the apple petals... I am jealous of the wildness in the new greeness. I want to be that beautiful someday.
I went outside a little while ago to inspect the blossoms. Where the blush bends down to the ground are prayers. Are patches of wild strawberries. They haven�t ripened yet; but I know they�re there. I love the Spring. So many promises just below my feet.
