Talk about marriage and weddings at dinner tonight. High buzz, low lights, flushed cheeks, smiles, kisses, and laughter all around.

Makes me a little sad as I look into the swirl of my Merlot. Reminds me that the world would prefer I had a husband rather than a wife. Reminds me that an elegantly feminine tuxedo will not be seen in the shows for the new designs for upcoming brides. Reminds me that marriages still aren’t for me... even though now I might actually want one.
