Tricked

I followed a drop of water last night in its trail from the shower head through the air, down my neck, collar-bone, on to and then finally off of my shoulder.
I watched as my weariness worried itself down the drain.

It reminded me of yesterday morning as I walked with my mouth open hoping the sun would melt the candied sky enough to drip into it.

This morning finds me outfitted in leather and sequined horns. I�ll put my tail on a little bit later.
The trick of it is I am all dolled up with nowhere to go but work and restless to be anywhere but there.

Hmmm, I think I would prefer a treat.
